What have I been up to lately?
I know I haven’t written a lot recently but I have not been without ideas and I am currently in the process of doing quite a few new things that I believe will make for some interesting articles.
As of late I have been:
-Working my butt off at my day job
-Working out virtually every day
-Reading an excellent book on the law of attraction
-Keeping up rather closely with the upcoming presidential election and candidates
-Brainstorming awesome ideas for new articles, posts, and content to regularly update the site with
-Keeping tabs on my other ventures for future development
I’m really excited about what I have in store for the future and especially my next big article, in which I will discuss the transformation which I am currently undergoing physically and the steps I have taken to get in really good shape and how that information can help you. I am currently on Week 4 of my program. I am going to do at least 8 weeks and possibly 10 depending on how my results come along and if I hit a plateau. Be on the lookout for an extensive write up on that in the near future.
I recently read The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles. This book is purportedly the inspiration for The Secret. While it is quite old, I really enjoyed the book and can see how the principles are still very true and universal. The underlying message I took away from it is that you have to WANT the things you truly desire in this life so badly that there is just no way you can’t get them. It also emphasized a call to taking action and being open to receive the opportunities that come your way to get those things you want. So don’t just be a person that daydreams idly about things, but be someone who has a vision, focuses on that vision, and goes about doing what is necessary to make the vision a reality. Good advice and important to remember as we all lose focus of what we really want from time to time.
I watched the latest and greatest Obama and McCain debate tonight. I have a great respect for both men, especially McCain’s military service being that I am a veteran myself. I really feel like Obama has the upper hand in this campaign though, and I am leaning towards voting for him at this point. It just seems to me that he and Biden have focused more on the facts and their plan of action throughout the campaign/debates and that McCain and Palin have tried to play more on the emotions of America. Not only that, but Obama has the charisma and leadership qualities I’d like to see in the White House right now. I won’t get into politics too much because that’s not what this blog is about. But I do hope that whoever gets elected can turn the dire situation in America around. Despite the economic crisis, I still have no doubt that this country is the land of opportunity and that anybody with drive and determination can achieve a level of success here.
I do have some awesome articles and case studies in the works and on the horizon. So even though I haven’t been posting much recently I am working on some great stuff that will be coming very soon. In the meantime, I will post a little more here and there with good nuggets of info that have helped me recently and will help you with your personal development quest as well.
So this is me signing off with a word of encouragement: Keep on fighting through the hard times and go out and get the health, wealth, and relationships you want and deserve in your life!
Cheers
Clark
