They All Laughed

Other than the above being an awesome song by the Charlie Biddle Trio, it is also an illustrator of a key component of successful people. Just take a couple minutes and listen to the lyrics of the whole song carefully.

Notice how every one of those historical names has one thing in common: they all have irrational expectations for themselves, no matter what other people may think. The world is run by people with extraordinary, unrealistic, and irrational expectations. Without lofty goals, none of the successes that we see again and again today would be possible. This comes back to knowing your outcome and taking whatever steps and making whatever adjustments are necessary to achieve it.

Don’t be afraid to set goals that other people may laugh at or consider unachievable. It only seems that way to them because they can’t do it themselves. You may very well get the last laugh in the end, and if you stick with it you most certainly will.

Improving the site

July 2, 2008 · Posted in Health, Relationships, Wealth · Comment

I have decided to change the site. After realizing that I wasn’t updating as much as I’d like to and that I have so much more to write about and offer than just internet marketing nuggets which while those are great they are really only one part of a bigger picture for me and everyone else.

I’d like to offer as much value as possible in each area that EVERYTHING in life falls into : Health, Wealth, and Relationships. So whenever I write a marketing-based post from now on, it will be categorized under Wealth. If I write a post about exercise and diet OR about improving your confidence, it will go under Health. If I write a post about dating, pickup or just increasing your social circle, it will go under Relationships. I think you get the idea.

The idea here is that since each day I’m here I learn SO MUCH, and then I come back here and post a semi-valuable post occasionally. Why not write here as much as possible while continuing to improve the site and offer a full-frontal VALUE assault on my readers? Share what has been helpful to me so that you can benefit from it? Yeah I thought that would be a good idea too.

Not to mention that right now I’m unemployed and I have a lot more time to write about the things that cross my mind and vent or hopefully offer some good information here and there.

I will also try to monetize the blog so that hopefully in the future I will also be able to make a career out of it. This is an aspect of marketing I’ve been delving into anyway so why not practice it right here? I can also report some of the results  and hopefully allow you to learn from my failures and successes.

Best wishes to all and thanks for your support!

 Clark
